Electrical contracting for data center projects
We carry out the electrical installations of a data center with our own electricians and site supervision. For data centers we do, among other things, the following electrical works:
Korpisähkö Oy is a Finnish electrical contractor founded in 1974 with its background in electrical contracting and maintenance for buildings. We bring the same expertise to data centers in Uusimaa and Northern Finland: cabling and cable trays, switchboards, grounding, lighting and building services equipment. The work is done by our own permanent electricians under our own site supervision.
Data center electrical works from Korpisähkö
The electrical works of a data center, server hall or colocation facility differ in scale and requirements from ordinary building installations. There are many cable routes, grounding and equipotential bonding must be verified, and every connection is documented. Korpisähkö brings an experienced crew, its own site supervision and an agreed crew size that stays for the whole project.

Our own electricians and site supervision
The work is done by Korpisähkö's own permanent electricians under our own site supervision. We do not broker labour.

Documentation and site safety
Commissioning inspections, measurement reports and as-built documentation are part of the delivery. On site we follow the client's safety rules and use the required protective equipment.
Our services for data centers
Low voltage works
Low voltage works cover electrical installations below 1,000 volts: cabling, switchboard and switchgear connections and equipment terminations. In a data center they make up a large share of the installation work, and their quality shows at commissioning and in day-to-day reliability.
Korpisähkö carries out low voltage works with its own electricians under its own site supervision. Installations are inspected and measured, and the client receives the documentation for commissioning.
Cabling and cable trays
We install cable trays, cable ladders and cable routes according to the design, and pull and terminate the cables. Route changes are documented so that the as-built documentation matches the installation.
When needed, we can also assist with high voltage cabling.
Grounding and equipotential bonding
Grounding and equipotential bonding are the foundation of electrical safety and interference protection in a data center. We install grounding, bonding and protective earthing of equipment according to the design and verify them by measurement.
Measurement results are recorded in test reports delivered to the client at commissioning.
Switchboard installation and connections
We install and connect distribution boards, sub-distribution boards and switchgear, including their incoming and outgoing cabling. Connections are labelled and documented, and boards are inspected before energising.
Lighting and emergency lighting
We deliver the lighting of data halls, technical rooms, corridors and outdoor areas as well as emergency and escape route lighting systems according to the design. Lighting controls and circuit groupings are documented as part of the handover package.

Building services and equipment connections
We supply and connect the building services equipment of a data center: cooling units, air handling units, pumps and other machinery supporting the process. The work covers supply cabling, safety switches, control connections and commissioning measurements together with the equipment supplier.
EV charging solutions
We deliver AC and DC charging solutions from design to load management and commissioning, and we help the client set up charging operations. We have delivered charging infrastructure to more than 200 housing companies and properties through our Korpilataus service (website in Finnish).
Snow and ice melting systems
Heating cable systems keep ramps, walkways, roof drains and rainwater systems working through the Nordic winter. We size and install the heating cables with controls so that the system heats only when needed.
Commissioning and documentation
Commissioning inspection, measurement reports and as-built documentation are part of our delivery. Documents are prepared to the client's and the site's requirements so that handover proceeds without open items.
